I finally have the pleasure to create Symbol Set 2 example maps with Peter Gifford's gorgeous bitmap art. Here is a piece that's part of my recreation of Peter's original "proof-of-concept" map for CC3/DD3 (which was done in Photoshop). It is scaled down 50% from a 3200x2400px from CC3 - just to give you an idea of the detail of the bitmaps.
