My little trip to Boston after GenCon Indy didn't leave me time to update the blog, so it's been quiet here - don't rush me, Mark! ;)

Thanks to Tom Evans (the friendly guy with the hat in the pics) I have a few pictures of our booth at GenCon on hand, so I can at least show you a little how it looked:

Gencon's over! While it was nice, it's always a good feeling to have completed a busy convention. On to Boston ....

Up Early in Indy

I'm still waking up extremely early (due to jet lag) here in Indianapolis and since I can't get into the halls before 9am I used the time to prepare to show off the almost-finished DD Pro, SS1 and SS2 Upgrades for CC3 at the show.

I just hope I'll be able to get back to Europe without too many delays and too much trouble. The media are going crazy here, and some of the stuff I've seen and heard on CNN makes me seriously doubt the sanity of those news people. I am sure the Esoterrorists are at work...

All Set Up

10:30am and setup for GenCon is already done. Steve and Tom arrived tired, but well-prepared as usual and apart from minor inconveniences (anyone remember that password from last year's GenCon?), we are all set. I'll just put the bundle offers together now, and then use the rest of the day to reacquaint myself with Indianapolis. I'm looking forward to the start of the show tomorrow.

Arrived in Indy

I'm safely in my hotel room in Indy, after a mostly uneventful trip (I'm getting horribly used to these cross-Atlantic flights).

The only "problem" was getting the connecting flight from Newark to Indy. The plane was right on time: 2:05pm. Scheduled departure: 3:20pm (check-in 2:45pm). Try to do the following in 1:15h:

- Getting out of the plane
- Immigration check
- claim your baggage
- go through customs
- check-in your baggage again
- go through security check
- run to the other end of the Terminal (the Gates were at completely opposite sides)

From the plane window I saw my bag brought-in late. One lonely bag on its very own trailer. And there was no delay at all (security check had long lines, but immigration was amazingly quick). What do they do, when the plane is 20 minutes late?

Anyway I'm getting tired. I'll meet Steve and Tom tomorrow for set-up. Read you after that...
